About
Buket Akgün received her B.A. (1999) in English Language and Literature and American Studies Program Certificate (1999) from Boğaziçi University. She received her M.A. (2004) with her thesis titled "Wonderland and Middle-earth: The Mythic Quest in the Dream / Fantasy World" and her Ph.D. (2011) with her thesis titled "The Herbalist-Healer-Midwife-Witch in Contemporary English Novel" in English Language and Literature from Istanbul University. Buket Akgün is currently a Lecturer Doctor in English Language and Literature Department, Istanbul University.
